Free help finding a job

Goodwill operates three Workforce Connection Centers in the greater Milwaukee area. These centers partner with local employers to connect jobs and job seekers.  Our Workforce Connection Centers offer free resources, training and support so job seekers can find meaningful employment. To improve access to our services, we also meet people where they are at access points including public libraries, shelters and community centers, providing services such as resume building and interview prep.

Our participation in Project SEARCH helps young adults with disabilities in the Milwaukee area obtain nine-month internships at local businesses.  This innovative, business-driven transition program helps young adults develop job and social skills that can lead to competitive employment in the community.

Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is a program that provides support to people overcoming addiction or mental health challenges. Through the support of the IPS program, participants are able to gain soft skills that allow them to find a job in their area of interest.

Promoting independence and building confidence

Goodwill helps support health, wellness and economic stability through a variety of programs in the greater Milwaukee area including disability support services, services for the elderly and a variety of job training and success programs designed to build upon transferrable skills and industry needs.
