Free help finding a job leads to confidence and job search success

With the help of Goodwill’s Community Access Point at the Milwaukee Public Library, Anthony found the support he needed to find employment. Anthony started working with Zachary Naylor, a Goodwill Workforce Connection Center consultant who served as his job coach. Together, they looked for job opportunities, mapped out a job search action plan and built job retention strategies.

He also received help with writing a resume, finding job leads, applying for jobs and interview preparation.
“Along with crucial conversations in career navigation of real workplace situations, we’ve provided advice, guidance and reassurance to help Anthony succeed in a job that’s the right fit,” says Zachary.
Anthony recently found a job in the restaurant industry that provides training, support and promise for the future.

“Working with Goodwill has given me the confidence to find a long-term employment opportunity with a supportive environment,” says Anthony.
