Our Individual Placement and Support (IPS) program helps you achieve success after addiction. We provide tailored support for individuals overcoming substance use conditions and/or living with mental health challenges, ensuring sustainable employment and on-the-job success.

Through Project SEARCH, young adults with disabilities who are transitioning out of high school can participate in nine-month internship programs at locations in the greater Milwaukee area. 

Serve those who serve our country

At Goodwill Great Lakes, our AbilityOne participants receive ongoing support, including on-site ASL interpreters for our deaf and hard-of-hearing employees.  

Get hands-on experience

Our partnerships with Walgreens and FedEx provide hands-on training to help individuals with disabilities gain the work and life skills needed to succeed in a retail or warehouse environment. Learn how to become proficient in customer service, cash handling, merchandise receiving, stocking, loading and unloading trailers, safety, sorting and palletizing, then get help applying and interviewing with interested employers.

Master skills for job success

Our Custodial Training Program provides 8 weeks of training to help people enter the environmental services industry. In addition to learning about advanced custodial techniques and procedures, green cleaning concepts and safety, participants gain work and life skills including professionalism, customer service and teamwork. Dedicated trainers and case managers provide support every step of the way to help trainees master the skills necessary for workplace success.
