Preparation for new job seekers

Looking for your first job can be a challenge. Goodwill is here to help. 

The Empower Youth program connects teens and young adults in the Chicago area to resources that help them prepare for and find a job. Participating in this program can help you down your path towards a more successful career and life. 

Project SEARCH is a national school-to-work transition program for young adults with disabilities. Through this program, Goodwill connects participants to nine-month internships at host businesses in the Milwaukee area.

We actively work to increase job opportunities for everyone. Our services remove barriers and provide support including:

  • Helping you understand how getting a job affects your benefits.
  • Supporting people with mental health and/or substance use conditions, helping them develop the confidence and skills needed to find and keep a job.
