Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago Names Nathan Casey Senior Vice President, Marketing

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago today named Nathan Casey, Senior Vice President, Marketing, effective January 27.

Casey has led digital- and customer-marketing initiatives for a range of leading companies including Starbucks, Eddie Bauer, McDonalds, Hindman Auctions and, most recently, at IHOP, where he served as VP-Marketing, overseeing brand, media, creative, digital and e-commerce for the national restaurant brand.

At Goodwill, he’ll use that experience to advance the organization’s mission - Connecting people to work. Preparing people for life. - while creating moments that matter for shoppers, donors, and the communities Goodwill serves. His expertise will enhance Goodwill’s efforts to provide exceptional shopping and donating experiences tailored to customers and strengthen community impact across the greater Milwaukee and Chicago area.

Casey will lead initiatives to enhance customers’ experience across Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago’s territory while continuing to strengthen the organization’s mission-driven efforts. Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is focused on strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people connect to valuable employment and resources. This is done by getting job seekers ready to work, creating community stability and supporting the workforce of the future. In 2023, the organization served more than 50,000 people, connected people to more than 4,000 jobs and diverted more than 150 million pounds of clothing and household items from landfills.

Nathan began his marketing career leveraging the Starbucks Rewards program to create Starbuck’s first data-driven, personalized marketing program, and has since designed loyalty programs for Eddie Bauer, McDonalds and IHOP. Most recently, Casey’s work on digital transformation and AI at IHOP has been recognized by the 2024 Murtech Breakthrough Award, Newsweek’s America’s Best Loyalty Programs and Foundry’s CIO 100 Award.

Nathan has a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
