Jackie Hallberg Named To BizTimes’ List Of Most Influential Wisconsin Leaders
Goodwill’s President and CEO, Jackie Hallberg, is named to BizTimes Media’s list of Wisconsin’s most influential business leaders.
As part of this designation, Hallberg is featured in the BizTimes’ inaugural edition of Wisconsin 275 that highlights the many people dedicated to moving the state forward and driving economic growth. Of the 275 people included from different economic sectors, Hallberg joins 13 other nonprofit executives in receiving this honor.

Get To Know Jackie Hallberg
Hallberg oversees the largest Goodwill organization in North America, providing training, employment and supportive services in 23 counties across southeastern Wisconsin and metropolitan Chicago. In 2021, Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin and Metropolitan Chicago’s work led to over 42,000 people receiving support and 4,105 job placements across its territory.
Hallberg has over 30 years of experience supporting individuals with significant disabilities, developing and implementing innovative workforce development programs, and leading large-scale operations. Before becoming President and CEO in 2013, Hallberg held the role of senior vice president of federal services leading Goodwill’s operations at Naval Station Great Lakes in Illinois where she was responsible for managing food services and logistics support for the Navy’s only boot camp as part of the federal AbilityOne Program. Prior to her work at Great Lakes, Hallberg played a key role in Goodwill’s operations at the nationally recognized Kenosha County Job Center, the nation’s first one-stop job center.
Hallberg holds a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She is active in a variety of civic and community groups and has received many honors and recognitions.
