FALL Reminders

FALL is here! Weather can be unpredictable in Wisconsin so here are some basic tips:

• Please make sure your items are labeled.
• You can bring a pair of tennis shoes to change into if you wear your rain boots!
• Members will not be permitted to go on scheduled community integration activities (aka Outings) if they are not properly dressed for the weather.
• Layers! You can’t put on layers you don’t have when you’re cold!
  • There can be 20+ degree differences between arrival and mid-day.

Personal Items

Goodwill is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. Please refrain from bringing personal items to program. If you need to bring something, contact your supervisor or Day Program Specialist (DPS, previously known as Case Manager) for any questions or concerns.  

Closures

As the temps get colder, we want to make sure we’re prepared. Please make sure we have your most updated contact information so that we can reach out if we need to close due to inclement weather. Contact your site Supervisor or Day Program Specialist to confirm!

Other Updates!

We have openings for new members at all of our locations! If you know someone that is looking for services, we would love to have them come take a tour! Feel free to provide prospective members with either the Supervisor or Case Manager’s contact information so we can continue to grow our great programs! This information can be found on the top right corner of each calendar!
