SUMMER Reminders

Summer is here and it is HOT HOT HOT! Weather can be unpredictable in Wisconsin so here are some basic tips:

• Members are responsible for bringing and applying their own sunscreen and bug repellent. Goodwill does not provide these items.
• We will monitor the heat index for Community Integreation events and will cancel accordingly.
  • Members who are not appropriately dressed for the weather or do not have appropriate items for the day will not be permitted to attend events.
• Please ensure members have their own water bottles with their names or identifiable labels.
• Sandals are allowed with restrictions:
  • No flip flops
  • Must have closed toes and closed heels (crocs are OK with the strap behind the heel)
• Please see your staff for more information and guidance on what is OK and not OK to wear.

Personal Items

Goodwill is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. Please refrain from bringing personal items to program. If you need to bring something, contact your supervisor or Day Program Specialist (DPS, previously known as Case Manager) for any questions or concerns.  

Closures

Please make sure your contact information is updated! We will contact you via automatic calls, texts, emails for any closures due to inclement weather or other reasons.

Other Updates!

We have openings for new members at all of our locations! If you know someone that is looking for services, we would love to have them come take a tour! Feel free to provide prospective members with either the Supervisor or Case Manager’s contact information so we can continue to grow our great programs! This information can be found on the top right corner of each calendar!
