OFFICIAL RULES

  1. PROMOTION PERIOD. Goodwill Holiday Gift Card Giveaway takes place December 15, at 9 a.m. CST through December 17, 2025, 11:59 p.m. CST.
  2. SPONSOR. The OFFER is sponsored by Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. (the “Sponsor”) with its principal place of business at 6055 N. 91st Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53225.
  3. LIKE THE POST, TAG A FRIEND IN THE COMMENTS AND FOLLOW US FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A $25 GOODWILL GIFT CARD. No purchase is necessary to enter.

ELIGIBILITY. This promotional offer is only open to residents of Wisconsin and Illinois who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Members may donate at any participating Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. retail location during the offer time period in Southeastern Wisconsin (Counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Fond du Lac, Rock, Dodge, Walworth, Washington, Sheboygan, Ozaukee, Green Lake, Jefferson, Racine & Kenosha) and Metropolitan Chicago (Counties: Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, Will). Goodwill Employees, officers, directors, and agents, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, wholesalers, retailers, distributors, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, husband, wife, daughter, son, step-father, step-mother, step-daughter, step-son, step-brother, step-sister, half-brother, half-sister) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state, and local laws apply.

You may only enter once, and you may only be awarded one (1) gift card prize.

  1. GOODWILL HOLIDAY GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY. Two (2) twenty-five dollar ($25) gift cards to two (2) Winners will be selected, who participated on social media by liking the post, tagging a friend in the comments and following Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago. The gift cards are for Sponsor’s stores and donation centers, with Terms and Conditions included on the cards, and each card will expire five (5) years from the date they are awarded. A Winner will be selected on December 18, 2025, at 9 a.m. CST by random drawing. The odds of winning are fully dependent on the number of eligible participants. The Winner will be notified by direct message within two (2) business days of the random drawing. “Notification” will consist of Goodwill’s contact to the Winner along with Winner’s acceptance of the prize. If Sponsor is unable to contact Winner and receive an acceptance of prize by Winner by direct message within two (2) business days, then subsequent random drawings will occur every two (2) business days to determine a new Winner until a Winner accepts the prize. At acceptance, the Winner’s will be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (“Affidavit”) within seven (7) business days. Sponsor will coordinate delivery and receipt of the completed Affidavit with the Winners. Failure to return the completed Affidavit within the specified time may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate Winner. In the event of a conflict on the identity of the Winner, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the holder of the social media account from which the entry was submitted. No substitution, cash redemption, or transfer of gift by Winner permitted. All federal, state, and local taxes or other expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the participant.
  2. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. By participating in the Goodwill Holiday Gift Card Giveaway, each participant accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these terms and conditions and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Official Terms and Conditions and any advertisement, promotional or marketing materials, or other announcements relating to the Goodwill Holiday Gift Card Giveaway, these Official Terms and Conditions govern. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotional Offer at any time. Sponsor may amend these Official Terms and Conditions by posting such amended Terms and Conditions on www.goodwillwgreatermc.org.
  3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY/DISCLAIMERS: BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROMOTIONAL OFFER, ALL PARTICIPANTS AGREE TO FOREVER WAIVE, RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE SPONSOR, AS WELL AS SPONSOR’S OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, ATTORNEYS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, SHAREHOLDERS, CONTRACTORS, SUCCESSORS, ASSIGNS AND INSURERS (COLLECTIVELY “RELEASED PARTIES”) FOR AND FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEBTS, LIABILITIES, DEMANDS, OBLIGATIONS, COSTS, FEES, EXPENSES, ACTIONS, CAUSES OF ACTION WHATSOEVER, OF EVERY NATURE, CHARACTER AND DESCRIPTION (COLLECTIVE, “CLAIMS”), KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ALL THOSE ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THIS PROMOTIONAL OFFER; THESE OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS; ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION; THE NEGLIGENCE OF ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES; THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, MISUSE OR USE OF ANY GIFT WITH PURCHASE; AND ANY PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION.     BY PARTICIPATING, PARTICIPANT REPRESENTS AND WARRANTS THAT HE OR SHE OWNS AND/OR HAS THE AUTHORITY TO RELEASE THE CLAIMS STATED HEREIN. FURTHER, BY PARTICIPATING OR ACCEPTING THE GOODWILL HOLIDAY GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY GIFT CARDS ALL PARTICIPANTS EXPRESSLY AGREE TO AT ALL TIMES DEFEND, HOLD HARMLESS, AND INDEMNIFY THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM AND AGAINST ALL CLAIMS OF ANY KIND OR NATURE WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND DISBURSEMENTS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THIS PROMOTIONAL OFFER; THESE OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS; PARTICIPANTS QUALIFYING; THE NEGLIGENCE OF ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES; THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, MISUSE OR USE OF ANY GOODWILL PROMOTION AWARDS; AND ANY PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTIONAL OFFER.

PUBLICITY RELEASE: By participating in this Promotion, each participant irrevocably grants the Released Parties the right to use each such participant’s name, photograph, image, video, biographical information, in any and all media for any purpose, including, without limitation, advertising and promotional purposes and each entrant hereby releases the Released Parties from any liability with respect thereto, except where prohibited.
  5. GOVERNING LAW. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these offer terms and conditions or the rights and obligations of the participants, sponsor or released parties in connection with the Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s laws.
  6. AFFIDAVIT OF ELIGIBILITY. At acceptance, the Winner’s will be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (“Affidavit”) within seven (7) business days. Sponsor will coordinate delivery and receipt of the completed Affidavit with the Winners. Failure to return the completed Affidavit within the specified time may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate Winner.
  7. ADDITIONAL DISCLAIMERS. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Facebook, and by participating in the giveaway, you release Instagram or Facebook of any responsibility associated with giveaway execution and fulfillment. If this Promotional Offer is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including, without limitation, because of a printing error, human error, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or other cause which corrupt or threaten to corrupt or adversely affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotional Offer, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend this Promotion, including awarding gift cards with purchase from in store registrations or online submissions received prior to the time of the cancellation, modification or suspension. All participants, as a condition of entry, agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Sponsor. Failure to comply with these Official Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from this Promotional Offer. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has violated these Official Terms and Conditions. Participants further agree to not knowingly damage or cause interruption of this Promotional Offer. Any person who supplies false information, obtains the Promotional Offer by fraudulent means, or is otherwise determined to be in violation of these official terms and conditions in an attempt to obtain any offer will forfeit any gift with purchase and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
