Long-Term Substitute Spanish Teacher

First Semester | 2026–27 School Year

Our client, a private high school in Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time long-term substitute Spanish teacher for the first semester of the 2026–27 school year. This role focuses on teaching Spanish I and supporting students in a diverse, mission-driven academic environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with adolescents, values collaboration, and is committed to helping students achieve academic excellence. This individual will work closely with a dynamic World Language department to deliver engaging instruction and foster a positive classroom culture.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish I courses
• Create an engaging and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with World Language department colleagues on curriculum and instruction
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Support the school’s mission and core values

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
• Wisconsin DPI teaching license preferred (non-licensed candidates may be considered)
• Demonstrated proficiency in Spanish with strong communication skills
• Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
