CNC Quality Technician – 3rd Shift

Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client in New Berlin, is hiring an experienced CNC Quality Technician for a 3rd shift opportunity.

• 3rd shift schedule: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 12% shift premium
• Hourly pay range of $17 to $20 based on experience and qualifications
• Hands-on role in a fast-paced metal manufacturing environment

What You’ll Do

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, purchased parts, finished materials, and completed products for quality and specification compliance
• Interpret detailed blueprints, work orders, engineering specifications, and routing sheets to confirm production standards and tolerance limits
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
• Complete routine quality audits according to work instructions
• Troubleshoot print and bill of materials issues
• Document inspection results, damage reports, return reports, and rework orders accurately
• Communicate quality concerns, tolerance deviations, and inspection findings with plant supervision
• Assist with ISIR and PPAP activities as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 2 to 5 years of metal manufacturing experience in a fast-paced machining environment
• Previous Quality Technician experience in a manufacturing setting required
• CMM experience is a plus
• Ability to read and use multiple gauges, dials, and other indicators
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Quality control certification is a strong advantage, including ISO 9000 experience
• Ability to regularly lift parts up to 30 lbs. and frequently walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
