Part-Time 20-25 hours/week Food Service Assistant - Milwaukee, WI

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS:  Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for 1st shift, part-time Food Service Opportunities. $18.40/hr

SUMMARY:

As a Food Service Professional you will be assigned to a school kitchen. Part Time Status ranges from 3-5.5 hours daily. (Position requires no nights, weekends or holidays)   You will play an important role in meeting the nutritional needs of the students.
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be performing a variety of food service operations while preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack foods. Task may include food preparations, serving, cashiering, stocking items in refrigerators, freezers or stock rooms, maintain facility in sanitary condition and other duties assigned by the Food Service Manager
 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Majority of work is performed by standing or walking and requires exposure to changes in temperature and humidity. Work requires using hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling. Work at times requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching with the ability to lift, carry, push or pull heavy weighted items.  Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Individuals will be subject to criminal background verification, employment eligibility verification and a drug screen test.  Ideal candidate will have at least 6 months to 1 year of successful employment history and have a positive attitude.
