Material Handler / Picker - Elk Grove Village, IL

We are hiring! Goodwill TalentBridge is looking for a 1st shift Material Handler in Elk Grove Village!

1st shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm
Pay: $18.50/hr.
Type: Open Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately read and follow picking tickets
• Use scanners, keyboards, and MRP inventory systems to record material movement
• Operate scales, reel counters, and counting equipment for kit picking and cycle counts
• Pick and put away parts from shelving per pick ticket instructions
• Pack and label finished products or PCBs following written and verbal directions
• Assist with inventory activities including picking, packing, counting, shipping, and put-away
• Stand for up to 95% of the workday
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• 1–2+ years experience in material handling, order picking, or warehouse positions
• Basic computer knowledge
• Strong basic math skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Team-oriented mindset
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs., stoop, squat, reach overhead, and stand for long periods
