Material Handler- Warehouse
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (1700 Leider Lane)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Overtime: Possible overtime from 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM as business needs require (not guaranteed)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00/hour
Position Type: 2 role open. 1 temp-to-hire, 1 contract for 6 months
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Production Department Associate to join a well established and thriving team in Buffalo Grove. This is a hands-on role within a warehouse and production environment, supporting the preparation and assembly of lighting fixtures and components. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist with a variety of production and warehouse-related tasks as directed by management.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist with a variety of production and warehouse-related tasks as directed by management.
Key Responsibilities
- Unbox lighting fixtures and components for processing and carting
- Perform light electrical assembly of products and components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removal of trash and cardboard
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed ( picking, packing, shipping and receiving, material handling)
- Follow instructions from team leads and managers regarding daily tasks and priorities
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and workplace standards
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
- Previous warehouse experience 2+ years
- Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record
- Order picking and order checking experience
- Experience using RF scanners for picking and receiving inventory
- Ability to work in a warehouse/production environment
- Ability to lift, move, and handle products throughout the workday
- Willingness to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak)
- Forklift operation experience
