Goodwill TalentBridge is hiring a Final Assembler for a manufacturing client in Elk Grove Village, IL. This position is ideal for candidates with assembly or production experience who are detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal work instructions to assemble components accurately
• Perform assembly duties including de-paneling, component insertion, part placement, and pre-forming parts
• Use hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, and other assembly equipment
• Enter production information using scanners and keyboards in the Tango system
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality issues
• Report defects, damaged materials, or production concerns to supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support additional production and assembly tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• 2-3 years of assembly, manufacturing, or production experience
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Lift and carry up to 35 pounds
• Frequently bend, stoop, squat, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements
• Work in a manufacturing or production environment
