Goodwill TalentBridge is hiring an Electrical Testing Associate for a growing electronics manufacturing company in Elk Grove Village. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB testing, circuit board assembly, quality inspection, troubleshooting, or electrical testing.

What You'll Do

As an Electrical Testing Associate, you will test, inspect, and troubleshoot printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies to ensure products meet quality and performance standards before shipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and functional testing on printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Operate electronic test equipment and testing fixtures
• Set up and load required test programs
• Inspect circuit boards and electronic assemblies for defects
• Identify missing, damaged, reversed, or improperly installed components
• Troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical issues
• Document test results and quality findings
• Complete production and quality control paperwork
• Follow ISO standards, testing procedures, and manufacturing guidelines
• Report equipment issues, calibration concerns, and product failures

Qualifications

• Electronics testing experience (1+year)
• PCB testing or PCB assembly
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Electronics manufacturing
• Production or manufacturing environments
• Quality inspection or quality control

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to identify electronic components including capacitors, resistors, and semiconductors
• Understanding of circuit board assembly and testing processes
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand throughout the shift
• Frequent handling of electronic components and testing equipment
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Strong hand dexterity for testing, assembly, and inspections

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
