CNC Operator - Lathe & Mills - Menomonee Falls, WI

Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our partner, have IMMEDIATE needs for CNC Machinists to work in the Milwaukee area.

Can you operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes AND do all the QC checks to produce precision machined metal parts in an automated CNC Machine shop environment?  Than this role is for you!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acquire parts to be machined (forklift/pallet jack)
• Read blueprint, job order and tooling instructions for production requirements.
• Machine parts to required specifications - tight tolerance work.  Track quality (SPC)
• Inspect machined pieces to verify conformance to specifications and make adjustments based upon quality data.
• Move parts to designated areas.
• Replace worn tooling as needed.
• Remove and return tooling when job is complete.
• Suggest machining methods to improve job efficiency.
•  Work within OSHA and ISO standards
• Follow established safety procedures
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and machine cleaning duties.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties for the building

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• HS diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 2+ years of related experience is required
• Shifts Available:
  • 1st:  6am-4pm (Monday thru Thursday)
  • 2nd:  350pm-305am (Mon, Tues, Wed) and 350-1005pm (Thurs)
• o    Weekend Shifts
  • Day:  6am-6pm (Fri, Sat, Sun)
  • Night:  6pm-6am (Fri, Sat, Sun)
• Pay Rate:  $20/hr +, depending on experience
