Math Interventionist
Full-Time | 2026–27 School Year
We are partnering with a private, Christian, high school in the Milwaukee area seeking a Math Interventionist to provide targeted support to students and strengthen math achievement. This role focuses on delivering small group and individualized instruction while collaborating closely with the math department.
The ideal candidate is data-driven, student-focused, and skilled at helping learners close gaps and build confidence in core math concepts.
Responsibilities
- Provide small group and individualized math intervention support
- Use assessment data (e.g., Pre-ACT and classroom performance) to guide instruction
- Help students stay on track with current math coursework
- Track course content and align support with classroom instruction
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and school staff on student progress
- Collaborate with math department colleagues and participate in team meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field required
- Wisconsin DPI Math license strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2
- Experience using student data to inform instruction and interventions
- Demonstrated success supporting students with diverse learning needs
